The uniquely beautiful Delight Lamp is a sensation to behold.  Delight was designed by Dutch designers Frans van Nieuwenborg and Martijn Wegman for Ingo Maurer in Germany.  Part of the Ingo Maurer modern lighting classics.  The main component of Delight is an incombustible white fiberglass cloth with a beautiful sheen.  This especially designed cloth replaces the traditional lamp shade and offers possibilities to adapt the shape and the intensity of the light after one's own desire. 
Delight was designed to be used 'hanging' or 'standing'.  A special loop is fitted on one side of the cloth to hang the lamp on a wall; when it is used standing, the fitting should be in a vertical position.  The best effect is obtained with a classic white incandescent light bulb of max. 40W. 
Delight is included in the design collections of the Stedelijk Museum of Amsterdam, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
